Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Şeyma Mavideniz (“I”, “me”, or “the Developer”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use websites, mobile applications, and related services I publish, including the iOS app Readify (together, the “Apps”).

By using an App, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Apps.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller for personal data processed through the Apps is:

2. Scope

This Policy applies to all Apps published under my developer account, unless a specific App provides a separate privacy notice. App Store privacy labels for each App remain the source of truth for that App’s data types.

3. Information we collect

Depending on the App and the features you use, the following categories may apply.

Information you provide

  • Name, email address, and message content if you contact me through a form, email, or in-app support.
  • Feedback, bug reports, or other content you choose to send.
  • Account details, only if an App offers optional sign-in.

Information stored on your device

  • App settings, preferences, and progress (for example reading sessions or focus data in Readify).
  • Content you create or import inside an App.

Unless an App clearly states otherwise, this on-device data stays on your device and is not uploaded to my servers.

Information collected automatically

  • Device type, operating system version, language, and App version.
  • Diagnostic and crash information, which Apple may provide through App Store / Xcode crash reports.
  • Basic usage or analytics data, only if that App’s App Store privacy label discloses it.

Information I do not collect by default

  • I do not require an account to use most Apps.
  • I do not sell personal data.
  • I do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone data unless an App requests that permission for a stated feature and you grant it.

4. How information is used

Personal data is used only to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Apps.
  • Respond to support requests and messages.
  • Fix bugs, monitor stability, and understand how features are used (when analytics are enabled).
  • Comply with law and enforce the Terms of Use.

5. Sharing of information

I may share information only in these cases:

  • Apple. Apps distributed through the App Store are subject to Apple’s terms, analytics, payment, and crash-reporting systems.
  • Service providers. Hosting, email, or form tools (for example the contact form on this website) that process data on my behalf.
  • Legal reasons. If required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or security.
  • Business transfer. If an App is transferred, relevant data may move with it, still subject to this Policy or a successor notice.

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

6. Third-party services

Some Apps or this website may use third-party services such as Apple, hosting providers, analytics, or form processors. Those providers have their own privacy policies. I only use them as needed to run the Apps and this site.

7. Data retention

  • On-device data remains until you delete it or uninstall the App.
  • Support emails and form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and keep a reasonable record, then deleted or archived.
  • Crash and diagnostic data follows Apple’s retention practices when collected through Apple.

8. Security

I take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use official App Store downloads only.

9. Children’s privacy

The Apps are not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact me and I will delete it.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including the EU/EEA (GDPR) and Türkiye (KVKK), you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data I hold about you.
  • Ask for correction or deletion.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Türkiye: Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu).

You can also limit data on your device by changing iOS Settings, resetting an App, or uninstalling it.

11. International processing

I am based in Türkiye. If you use the Apps from another country, your information may be processed in Türkiye or in countries where Apple or other service providers operate.

12. Changes

I may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the Apps after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
