Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of websites, mobile applications, and related services published by Şeyma Mavideniz (“I”, “me”, or “the Developer”), including the iOS app Readify (together, the “Apps”).

By downloading, installing, or using an App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Apps.

1. The Apps

The Apps are provided for personal, non-commercial use unless a specific App states otherwise. Features may change, and I may update, suspend, or discontinue an App at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Apps. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Apps only with a parent or guardian’s permission.

3. License

I grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Apps on devices you own or control, in line with these Terms and the App Store terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, rent, or create derivative works from the Apps, except where applicable law allows it.

4. Apple App Store

If you download an App from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If these Terms conflict with Apple’s standard EULA on a point Apple requires, Apple’s terms control for that point.

Apple is not responsible for the Apps, support, or claims relating to the Apps. Any claims, including product liability, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims, are between you and me, not Apple, except as Apple’s terms provide.

5. Accounts and content

Some Apps may let you save settings, progress, or other content on your device. You are responsible for that content and for keeping your device secure.

You retain rights to content you create. You grant me a limited license to process that content only as needed to operate the App on your device or to provide support you request.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Apps for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Apps or related services.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or other users’ data.
• Misuse support channels or submit malicious files.
• Remove copyright, trademark, or other notices from the Apps.

7. Purchases and subscriptions

Some Apps may offer paid downloads, in-app purchases, or subscriptions through Apple. Payments, billing, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms.

• Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• To manage or cancel a subscription, go to iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Refund requests are made through Apple, not through me, unless Apple or applicable law requires otherwise.

If an App has no paid features, this section does not create a charge. It applies only when a purchase is offered.

8. Intellectual property

The Apps, including design, code, text, graphics, and trademarks, are owned by Şeyma Mavideniz or licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

9. Third-party services

The Apps may link to or rely on third-party services (including Apple). I am not responsible for those services’ content, terms, or privacy practices.

10. Disclaimer

The Apps are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, I disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. I do not warrant that the Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Features such as reading speed or focus tools in Readify are for personal productivity. They are not medical, educational, or professional advice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Apps.

My total liability for any claim relating to an App will not exceed the amount you paid for that App in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 USD if you paid nothing, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

12. Termination

You may stop using an App at any time by uninstalling it. I may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. Sections that should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limits) remain in effect.

13. Privacy

How I handle information is described in the Privacy Policy. Using the Apps also means you acknowledge that Policy.

14. Changes

I may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. If you continue to use an App after an update, you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Apps and uninstall them.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer laws in your country apply.

Courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction, without limiting any non-waivable right you have to bring a claim in your place of residence.
